All patients with a referral who visit the clinic for the first time are cared for in this consultation. After a clinical and radiological examination, a personal consultation is held to plan the necessary therapy and decide whether inpatient or outpatient treatment should take place.

Dental surgical procedures are performed in the operating room of the outpatient clinic:

• Removal of displaced, impacted teeth and root remnants
• Surgical tooth preservation (root apex resection)
• Treatment of accidental tooth fractures and tooth loss
• Treatment of small jaw and soft tissue cysts
• Placement and follow-up treatment of dental implants as well as local
• Measures to improve the bone supply before implantation
